On August 4, 2011, I received an email from a Petra Dušátková living in Olešná. Petra is the daughter of Vaclav Karas Jr. Vaclav Karas Jr is the son of Vaclav Karas Sr who is the youngest son of Matej Karas Sr. Vaclav Karas Sr was the brother of Matej Karas Jr, my great grandfather. This would make myself and Petra third cousins which means we share a common great great grandfather (Matej Karas Sr).
Petra has been a wonderful source of information in this search to learn more about our Bohemian heritage.
