The Cure’s Robert Smith is battling with a booze problem... and he blames the bottle for his being two stone overweight.
Thirteen-stone Smith, who is in the charts with Boys Don’t Cry, hates being fat, but he can’t kick the drink habit.
He says: "I love the taste of lager, but I only have to have one drink a day and I put on weight."
