The Oakenfold Cure
The Cure are rumored to be joining the dance remix brigade with a new version of their 1987 hit 'Close To You'.
Inside reports say remix guru Paul Oakenfold has fashioned a new mix of the track, though it's unlikely to see the light of day at least until the autumn.
In the meantime Robert Smith and Co., who headline the Garden Party event at Crystal Palace Bowl on August 11, have been recording some new material at a studio in Buckinghamshire which should find its way on to their next LP - the follow-up to last year's acclaimed 'Disintegration'.
