Autumn Cure Euro debut for new line-up before September UK dates
The Cure, who’ve been hard at work recording their next album, release a single next weekend called ‘In Between Days’ on Fiction (through Polydor). And they’ve announced a major British tour for September.
The bands will be playing a series of European festivals through the summer which will be the first public sighting of the new line-up.
Robert Smith has now surrounded himself with Laurence Tolhurst keyboards, Porl Thompson guitar, Boris Williams (ex-Thompson Twins) drums, and Simon Gallup on bass, who returns after a three year break.
The British gigs start at St. Austell Coliseum on September 8 and continue at Poole Arts Centre 9, Shepton Mallet Showering Pavilion 10, Wembley Arena 12, Brighton Centre 14, Newcastle Whitley Bay Ice Rink 16, Manchester Apollo 17-18, Birmingham NEC 20, Leeds Queens Hall 21, Edinburgh Playhouse 22.
Wembley tickets are 7.25UKP and 6.25UKP by post from CP Office, P.O. Box 1AS, London W1A 1AS.
